Courage, LLC was formed in 2013 to service customers who want the “can-do” attitude, execution, and innovation of startups working to solve for their most challenging Civic and Health IT transformation goals.

Jamey Harvey, Partner

Jamey Harvey is a co-founder and CEO of Courage LLC. He's a veteran innovation architect and change agent.  He has 25 years of technology innovation leadership experience in both startups and the local government ecosystem including DC.gov, WMATA and the DC HBX.  His startup experience includes online gaming, social networking, location based mobile services, as well as mentoring startups as an Entrepreneur in Residence at 1776.

Jamey has a lifelong commitment to leveraging technology innovation to create pathways to the middle class for underserved, impoverished DC residents.  He is a graduate of University of California Santa Cruz (‘95) and resides in Ward 4.

Eric Wimer, Partner

Eric Wimer is a co- founder and President of Courage LLC.  Most recently, Eric led the integration and delivery of the District's first operating healthcare exchange and is currently leading the Operations & Maintenance for the same exchange. Prior to starting Courage LLC, he was the founder and CEO of Exclusive Integration, a leader in corporate audio and video automation solutions industry for 11 years. Prior to starting Exclusive Integration Inc., he was the co-founder and COO of Ikimbo, where he helped raise more than $20 million and managed more than 120 people, an IT strategy consultant for both Price Waterhouse Coopers and AT&T Solutions, and was a Captain in the United States Army. Eric has a BA and MBA.

Nino Gardava, Partner

Nino Gardava is a co-founder and CFO of Courage, LLC.  Nino has a Master's degree in Language and Linguistics, and a certificate in web and print design.  She has more than 10 years of experience as a graphic and web designer.  Nino speaks four languages fluently and is a former professional swimmer.

Alexis Byrne, Vice President of Operations

Alexis Byrne is the Vice President of Operations at Courage LLC.  She leads the day to day operations of the company - building relationships with clients, contractors and staff to create an environment for success. Prior to joining Courage, Alexis was a Senior Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton working primarily for DHS Science and Technology, helping the client stand up and mature its organization but most importantly leading people in all stages of their careers. With over 30 years of Federal, State and local experience; Alexis has been a trusted advisor to senior government officials focused on improving organizational efficiency. She has been Chief of Staff, lead Congressional, intergovernmental and public affairs shops, and has worked in numerous government agencies such as TSA, USDA, and the DOE.  When she isn’t busy reading policy documents or managing contracts, Alexis can be found at area ice rinks watching her son play hockey.

Torie Proctor, Comptroller

Torie Proctor joined the Courage team in June 2017 as Comptroller. In this role, Torie oversees a broad range of financial activities such as AR/AP, reporting, short and long-term budgets and insurance management. Additionally, Torie fulfills various other compliance responsibilities, in accordance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, DCCA Compliance and organizational policies.

Torie has 15 years of business administration and finance experience, across various institutions. Assisting small and large businesses, not for profits, and even a highly recognized college for chefs, Torie has built a reputation of strong fiscal know how to support organizational goals. Besides numbers and budgets, Torie loves event planning.

Anne Vomm KIME, Strategic PartNer Lead

Anne Vomm Kime is a Strategic Partner Lead and a Project Manager of Courage LLC. As a Strategic Partner Lead her main focus is developing and maintaining strong partner relationships with the world's largest and most influential brands like Oracle and Salesforce. Anne has been a Project Manager at DC Health Link since June 2014. Before joining Courage, Anne led the development of supply chain and e-commerce software for an import/export company in WI; managed maintenance and support for a CAD software reseller; and worked as an SAP consultant for Siemens IT Services.  Anne is from Estonia – the country that pioneered in e-governance, Skype, as well as the Starship Technologies delivery robots that are strolling the Washington DC streets.
